@whatthefuck386, yeah its totally normal. although it is considered one of the stronger symptoms of AMS (acute mountain sickness). one time i was camping at around 9k above sea level and i woke up in the middle of the night and puked. Looking back on it, it was the only time i have ever experience such strong symptoms and i can directly link it with not staying hydrated. constant hydration is the number one key to acclimating well.
