That is wvo conversion, any diesel can run biodiesel without that conversion. Both of my cars run B99 without conversion since Sept.2010

you dont need to doo anything to the car to run new cooking oil! so why bother with all that stuff?

As for the quantity of Methanol or any other fuel that you can produce and or store; it is up to town ordnances and zoning residential might be limited very limited where commercial property may allow large storage and require spill and fire safety precautions in place.

If you mix Biodiesel with regular diesel fuel, it is classified as an additive not fuel but the methanol used in manufacturing Biodiesel is a fuel and was taxed when you bought that to make the Biodiesel so running it as straight fuel means you already paid the tax but if you sell it then there is sales tax tacked on.

Good to know, thanks for the info.

MPG is usually the same or less since you are carrying the extra weight of the vegetable oil tank but because it is augmenting the mileage you can travel without fueling up again and waist vegetable oil is typically free; the over all cost to drive further is less.
a GREASE conversion is NOT biodiesel!
