El método europeo de aguafuerte de impresión es a mano sólo al fin para contraste brillante. No necesario. Es uno de muchas maneras. ¡Los saludos de Seattle! Un amigo vive en Chapala. Quiere comenzar una escuela para el grabado.

No way, but you can use plaster prints. Google on that. You make up a cup or so of plaster of Paris and pour it on your inked plate. It sets up, and when you peel out the plate from the plaster, it takes the ink with it, and you get a facsimile of what it would look like on paper. Actually plaster prints are cool. My students used to put gauze and sticks and etc. into the process. The print can be carved, painted, etc. - it's like a whole other art form, part print, part sculpture.
