Aaron goes to Brooklyn Roundhouse in Portland Oregon to get a look at the SP 4449 Daylight. The SP 4449 was used to pull the American Freedom Train in 1975-1976 witch carried George Washingtons copy of the United States Constitution. Take a look at http://www.sp4449.com website for more info and how you can help out.

  • Trains will probably be making a comeback as the nation will not be able to afford to maintain all the highways due to the economy and peak oil. Tracks are much less costly to maintain than expressways.

  • Can anyone go in the roundhouse and look at the 4449 would love to film it also.

You're living in a dream world. If people can't afford to drive their cars, then truckers will not be able to deliver the food and supplies. People can't afford to drive cars=people won't be able to afford to buy food and essentials. What you describe is the US looking like haiti, I suggest it will look like 1776 when that happens.

  • Couldn't build these today. We'd have to make them in China.

  • The dudes working on the trains there are verry lucky.
