  • Wow, fantastic job. How many man-hours went into the project?

  • About 2 weeks and around 6-8 hours a day.

We weren't completely comfortable with the software and the work flow and interface of autodesk viz was pretty annoying

  • We took apart an existing GSX-R 600 gear box and measured all the parts and gears by hand with simple measuring tools such as calipers. Then the parts are CAD'ed in solidworks and pro/e and imported to Autodesk VIZ for animation.

  • nice work guys

  • this is brilliant, i cannot wait to start learning ProE.

  • Thats what i was thinking, that is gonna be one noisy gearbox without helical gears.

  • I wouldn't be able to concentrate for a long enough period to even complete a few parts for a project like this.

  • excellent!!!!! very good job!!!!
