I've heard lyrics a lot worse by artists of today and of this particular era. I would hardly call it a "nasty song" based on the lyrics. Thanks for your input but No, I'm not changing the spelling of "come". If you have any wits about you then you'd realize the song can be interpreted in more than one way.

Pure unadulterated soul--find a comparable female R&B artist today capable of down 'n' dirty (in the musical sense) funk like this (I'm sure there is one--they're just not selling a zillion CDs).The sound of a woman who wants her skillet greezed dirty and licked clean (and that's based on the emotion of the vocal,not the lyrical content).It reminds me of the cover of another Ike & Tina LP,The Hunter,where Tina's barefoot and clad in a leopard skin number that makes you want to be devoured by her

This is just FONKY!!! And yeah they're saying "young, dumb, full of... c'mon to me". That was a nice, more subtle way without being too nasty. Overall great song from Ike & Tina.
