The ministry of agriculture here in Jamaica is encouraging the fishermen to catch the lionfish and the ministry shows how to prepare it. I still haven't tried it, but many people say it is a very good tasting fish, so they are encouraging us to catch them and eat them but we may not be able to do it fast enough as they are eating our snapper and other fish at alarming rates. They got here someway. Did they swim all the way from Asia? Unlikely.
