The music was a challenge to myself, a refresher - Compose a sub-1-minute theme song for an animated television show that doesn't exist, and with strings and bells as the main instrument sounds/characters. The subject I chose was the Haven graphic novel which I'm fond of. Recording took 2 days, well maybe 4 hours altogether. The main theme was simple, but choosing the right instrument accompaniment and leveling is what took most of the time. Considering my ancient set of E-MU Proteus rack modules, I think it came out decent enough. As for the video, I tried (TRIED) to emulate the digital comic format as viewed on my PSP Go. I like how it came out, and I hope you all enjoy this.
This is my Christmas present to Haven's creators and the fans. Merry Christmas, my friends!
Haven is written by Leonardo Ramirez, with artwork by Davy Fisher, and published by Markosia Enterprises. All rights to Haven belong to them of course.
Theme was recorded on 17 Dec. 2010, by Ron Dador
