Cartoon Boot Camp 08: Pencil Tests of Flip Books prt 1

This is a pencil test of animation created by some of the students from the Cartoon Art Museum Cartoon Boot Camp 2008: Flip Book to Zoetrope. The students (age 10-14) created all the content as Flip Books and then they were filmed thanks to iStopmotion. The instructor is Brian Kolm (http://www.atomicbearpress.com). The software to create it was iStopmotion and iLife.

Then do it. Before we filmed them they were just a stack of index cards and a pencil. Lots of fun and a great way to learn animation principles.

I start the students with the classic ball bouncing.
