Metroid Prime 2 Echoes: Part 122 (Vs. Dark Samus, Final)

Welcome to part 122 of my Metroid Prime 2 Echoes Walkthrough. I will be starting a lot of my videos from the save point, or before the next major event.

--Planetary condition is at critical because we just took the last light holding this planet up. The only thing to do now is to get out of here except there's just one problem...

Who's that in our way? That's right, it's Dark Samus. You can also tell that she is in her final form. Dark Samus has her helmet off now. I think she looks a bit like Metroid Prime, no? Makes sense since she did get reincarnated through Samus's phazon suit. (Just a theory lol)

Anyways Dark Samus has some new moves. Phazon based attacks all improved and as deadly as ever. This time she can conceal herself from both combat and dark visor. Echo visor will reveal where she is. I think the best weapon to use is super missiles as usual.

Once you deal enough damage you'll come to a part where Dark Samus will turn into a huge phazon ball. Collect the phazon particles with a charged power beam and fire it right back at her!

From this point on, it's literally one repeated process. Right after she gets out of her phazon ball, shoot her with a super missile and she'll go straight back to her phazon ball.

With so little time you don't have a chance at doing anything else.
Damn it I hated when I got damaged by the phazon and lost my charge lol.

Anyways depleting her energy will finally destroy Dark Samus! She will disappear into little blue sparkles as usual.

No time to waste now that the Ing are going after Samus with everything they got. Although luck is on our side as a portal is revealed and Samus gets through just in time as Dark Aether is destroyed.

The Luminoth are freed from their stasis and thank Samus' victory. Samus returns to her ship and removes her armor as she takes one last look at Aether.
