I bought a Proxxon IB/E for my CNC router. The noise difference between the Proxxon and the Dremel is pretty amazing. The Proxxon is easier to mount, and is sturdier when mounted. The spindle has no detectable play.

  • Awesome! :-)

  • Thank you for posting this. I can use the information in my widget manufacturing company.

  • Respond to this video... Dremels are known to break cutting drywall.. I wouldnt give Dremels another chance. Proxxon all the way.. If you cant compare in the flesh read reviews. Proxxon's kill dremel

  • Dremel is more noisy because of the ball bearing, where Proxxon uses needle bearing. Needle bearing is quieter but will require more service time. Dremel is for more hardcore tasks, Proxxon would do better at jobs that require precision.
