Surfing in Montreal - AMAZING FOOTAGE

In case you didn't know, There is a sweet surf spot in Montreal. It's right behind the the Habitat 67 living complex across from the Old Port. Due to the high volume of water and the shape of the rocky bed in this area, an endless or static wave is formed that is perfect for surfing... Popular with locals and sufers from around the world, I decided to shoot some cool slow motion footage of the surfers, here is a rough cut of what was happening. This was captured with a Lumenera Lu175 high speed imaging camera and my laptop. This video was rendered at 30 FPS, the original footage was captured at frame rates between 110 FPS and 550 FPS. Sorry Mac fans, but like with anything REALLY cool... this amazing device works with PC's only... ;) Original music also by me... In case you didnt know, that water is contaminated. Common, its the St-Lawrence River right off Montreal. Last summer the sewer from Nun's Island were broken and dumping the raw sewage directly into the river and it took months to fix. Hum.... Anyone up for surfing now. A good piece of information to have folks....
