When I saw "Nosferatu" in the title I was kind of hoping it meant the World of Darkness kind of Nosferatu.

This is the best deus ex mod ever. But it's sad - there's something wrong with my TNM - King Kashue has told me something I should do, but...

There's nothing about it in my goals!!

There's still a goal about I should go to Kashue and Evil Invasion and "hear what they have to say about the spyware device". Can anyone help me out?? Good god I hate bugs!

A difference of tastes. I find referring to "newbies," "N00bZ," or "BoardGuests" collectively, offensive on its own. Implying "BoardGuests" as a whole are inferior and "below" the experienced veteran citizens adds insult to injury. To me, It is different than cracking jokes.

The irony is (and I'm VERY guilty of this from when I was young if you check my old DXE posts), the most stupid, inane garbage is posted by "popular" forum members, and on the other hand, guests usually ask good questions!

You CAN in fact make a mod (or a film, or a book) that bashes a nationality and then say "it's just a joke, don't worry". In fact it's been done quite a lot, and if the nationality (or whatever satirised group) then allow themselves to be offended by the satire, it generally reflects most poorly on them - not on the satire. I think the reason you react like this is that newbs are a minority, and making fun of minorities is dangerous business, but that's why we make fun of everybody :P

In my opinion we poke just as much if not MORE fun at the people harassing the newbies. There are also opportunities to help the newbs; the initial mission with Master_Kale and his N00Bz is an example that can go in many different directions according to your choices.

Our intention was to make fun of *everybody*, not just a particular group or category of people. I'm flattered that you even take it seriously enough to think about these things, just don't lose track of the big picture :-)
