the road from hartside to alston is filled with sweeping bends and long stretches...great for motorbikes...not so great for stupidity!

Great road, just get up early before the police checkpoints and Sunday drivers ruin your blast up to the cafe.

Has anyone in Alston, Cumbria heard of a place called Crossalands Farm. It is where Sir William Stephenson lived. He was my gt Grandad (few more gts in the front lol) - we can't find anything on it a all so any information would be great! - Oh, its near a place called Slaggyford? if that helps
