By any outsider/objective view of american presidents Clinton is one of the best of all time.
Came into office with a deficiet, left with a surplus. The U.S was -290.4 billion when he entered office and +236.4 billion when he left.
America was international liked while he was in office
While he went to war (Gulf) it lasted 5 years, was supported by the UN and 34 other states and the US completed its goal

extremely articulate and charismatic politician who had inate ability to connect the american people like no other in decades

It's amazing how much that speech rings true in this current election. We are still at the crossroads of having more "trickle down" economics.

He had empathy. So many politicians don't. There was a good line in the New York Times, something along the lines of: If Bill Clinton sees you across the street, he'll cross to you and be happy to pump your hand and talk to you. If Obama sees you, he'll smile and wave, but he'll expect you to cross to him.

Gawd, if he could only have run for a 3rd term the peace and prosperity would've continued, but we got DUBYA and he nearly destroyed everything: the economy, the environment, our world status, etc.

now im 35 years old and i have never, never seen a politician like this man in my lifetime. Not Obama (who i stayed up late a cried for) not Blair, none of them can tough this man. And like all politicians i bought him hook line a sinker THEN found out what he really was.
I mean this guys got it. If he became leader of the Nazi Party you'd probably half think about it.
Obama has charisma, but of a different kind. This guy has that folksy charm that America love so much, sex appeal and brains.
