I think she's much better than Madonna. None of Madonna's songs ever made me feel anything close to this. Madonna can't dance, doesn't have a nice voice, and isn't pretty. One can argue that Anita Mui is the same in those respects, but when she sings, she has so much more feeling and emotion than anyone else. Faye Wong may have the best voice, but she can't emote like Anita Mui.

I love Anita Mui, Rouge, and this song. Rouge is one of my favorite ghost movies if not the most beautiful and I think Anita did a wonderful job playing Fleur and the part where she sings this song is one of my favorite parts of the movie.

@twnyc83 Anita has a boat load of talent,also, her acting skills are remarkable as she portrays women with powerful influences, I think she is even better than meryl streep because of her range and how much she gives on each characters.

As for madonna, I think its unfair to call her that,for me, Madonna portrays woman as sluts while Anita portrays women with beauty and dignity as if you wish your a woman you would want to be Anita Mui

I don't know alot about Anita Mui apart from what I've seen in her movies and what I've read. Why was she compared to Madonna? Was she as slutty and fowl mouthed as Madonna? I doubt it. Anita was much more classy and ladylike than that old whore I'm sure.

@twnyc83 - Ofcourse Madonna can dance. That's what she was first and foremost. I'm no fan of Madonna but I've seen her "Blonde Ambition Tour" and other live stuff ans she can definitely dance. Her voice isn't very good, I agree.
