Which is more atrocious: the accent of this devoted CATCHER student from Brochterbeck, a tiny hamlet in northern Germany, or the absurd blunders concerning the plot of the novel?!
Find out for yourself and enjoy.

NOTE #1: If you are a CATCHER fan too and want to find out if you detected all the 24 mistakes which come up in this abominable summary, go to this URL:

NOTE #2: Curious about those pictures that come up in the video? Then take a look at my CATCHER GALLERY:

  • this is so cool, i laughed so much, it's a good practice for catcher-fans. phöbie :) love it!!!

  • Thanks so much - glad you enjoyed it

  • Hehe. Nice accent.

This summary makes me giggle; It was such a good idea on the author's part (the one with he website I mean). I find it amazing that anyone could think this was a real summary; how could one person be so very incorrect without meaning to be?

    =)

  • Thanks a bunch, mate!

  • this guy is a fucking idiot, (the narrator i mean), for gods sake, read the fucking book

  • This friendly bloke should have had a look at my notes next to the video - he might have realized that the whole thing is a deliberate attempt at a fake summary, plus a challenge: find out how many mistakes are in it....

PS: socer777 might also want to think about the language he uses, considering what Holden tries to do about the graffiti on the school wall...

  • Ok, so far I undertood, but isn`t the main question:

    was it really rye?

  • Yes Bernie! Fucking Ace! Love it!

    Bis bald. D.

  • For Chrissake, whaddaya mean calling Brochterbeck a "tiny hamlet"? Brochterbeck is actually an 850-year-old village boasting more than 2789 inhabitants - not to mention cows, pigs, etc etc...
