I just watched you tribute video on your sammy. I am sitting here in tears rolling down my face. I lost my sammy (pumpkin) about 6 yrs ago she was 15 and led a good long life she just got old. I couldn't bring myself to take her to the vet, my husband did. But i cried for 6 months. I almost went to a support group for pet loss. but time heals wounds please e me back and let me know if you got another sammy. thanks

@tyupism Was devastated when Shannon died as she was just under 4 yrs old, but like you cried and cried - b ad enough losing them when they're old but a youngster ohhh. 4 months later I got a rescue samoyed aged 19 mths. She is so lively and on the go all the time helped me get over Shannon. Video(s) about her on my channel My favourite is HAPPY SAMOYED.

We just got a Samoyed about 2 months ago and now he is 4 months old. I am so so sorry to hear about your Samoyed. He seemed like a happy and healthy Samoyed.. I hope you don't mine me asking what exactly happened? how did he become ill?

@mrandmrsca At 3 she became listless and vet thought it was thyroid problems.Did tests. 2 mths b4 she died she completely stopped eating.Went into a specialist vet hospital, more tests She had a fit and the vets put her to sleep there. Her liver had not developed after puppyhood, and body could not cope. Not anything that could be done. This was not anything to do with her breeding, just a one off thing. Heartbreaking. She was insured, and insurance company paid, it cost thousands

Thank you. This is the only footage I have of Shannon, and so glad I filmed her, as a happy puppy, not knowing then she was going to pass away so young.
