OMG Do not take this med!!! When I went off of it I was sick to my bed for a week. My skin was crawling and I felt super freaky. I was a nightmare. AND when I was taking it, my hands would go dead numb at night. One time, when I woke up my arm was dead but had unbelievable pain. It took my hubby 1/2 hour of non stop rubbing while I sat there and cried until the feeling came back. I was scared to death. I have had 3 neck surgeries and am a chronic pain sufferer,that is Y Doc put me on it. BAD MED

i had nightmares like never before for the first week, but then they stopped. now i'm a little faster tied but that's much better than the pain. it's by far not perfect but the best drug i took until now for my issues.

My side effects w/o taking this med along with several others would probably be a 9mm hole in the side of my head!

every drug has a side effect, side effects happen because your body is getting use to the drug, i take 50mg morning and evening and all ok, taken for neuro leg pain due to ms

i was in sooooo much pain last night, I dreamed a friend had an injection with the CURE! I so wanted to take it from her. I got close... real close... then , I WOKE UP!

It just depends on your body. I have Fibro and have been taking it for 4 years and haven't had a problem.

Basically doctors don't fully understand conditions such as this or Restless Legs Syndrome so they take shots in the dark as far as treatment goes. Some work, others don't, and still other meds cause serious side effects.
If you're really suffering you'll try anything. Sadly, research into such conditions is lacking and so thus far finding effective treatments is hard.
