Ignition - Amateur Championship part 2

Shortly speaking, you need some additional files to run the game in 3dfx mode. To do so, get the following package: http://www.freeweb.hu/dege/dgVoodoo1.40plus.zip
Copy everything to your Ignition folder, and then run the dgVoodooSetup.exe
It do contain alot of settings, but you should be good to go to the Glide tab and thenchange "Resolution" to the desired resolution you want. Using the "default" will crash the game. When you're done simply run the game through ignition_3dfx.exe and it should work.

Some notes: When I downloaded the package, my scanner did not report a virus, then a couple of days ago it warned for suspicious malware. Don't worry, it is a false positive :)
Another note at the resolution is that the game will be stretched on widescreen resolutions. This is one of the reasons I didn't want to play it in 1920x1080 when I recorded it.

Hopefully you got it to work, but if you didn't, this is my current config of voodoosetup. You can try and mimic it and hopefully get everything working.

I somewhat doubt you need to setup glide, only glide2x. Don't mind the different resolutions that differ in the pictures, it shouldn't matter. As long as you /don't/ use default game settings.

VoodooSetup image attached. glide and glide2x does not have the same resolution here only for the fact that I recently changed glide2x to run 1920x1080. (it appears only glide2x is used in my configuration, but you never know.)

@kyrionchan But just in case, since I did do some testing around and see what settings fit on my computer, it might be they differs. I'll attach some images for the setup I did, so you can compare and try what I have it set:)

(it might have been a such thing that both glide and glide2x must be setuped manually, but the resolution settings could be whatever it want but default I am sure of)

If it doesn't work, try compatibility mode even though it doesn't say you need to, just in case.

@kyrionchan I can reply to the issue about the music already. This is because the game required a cd to stream the audio tracks from. While the game itself does not need music, any package I have found on the net does not contain music, unless it is a full iso of the game. You can ofcourse find a full rom of the game, but I have no links for that :)

This could potentially be affecting why you have all the other problems, but I have no idea actually.

I've followed the step thoroughly and the game could run finally!

But the game's screen is black at most of the time

I can only see the menu and hear the sound effects when I choose the options

Also, the BGM is not working too...

can you figure out the problems?

Hi! I have this game in my Windows 7 laptop for a long time!

but I can't run it desipte having tried out loads of methods.

Once I open it at Ign_win.exe, it shows a black screen and then go back to desktop

Can you tell me how to do it in such a high quality?
