  • Remember bumping this jam with my boombox on my shoulder!!! Damn, bring back real hip hop and funk! BIG UPS UPTOWN EXPRESS, JOHNSON CITY,TN..... Your boy SCRATCH is back in the house...

  • Funkin Attitude!!!!!!!

  • 2 people have attitudes that suck.

  • Go funk yourself!

  • @RazerForce this was the shit back in the days new york in the house nothing but a party!!!!!!!!!

  • The jam...one of best bands from "The People Republic of Brooklyn" ..along with Chic, Crown Heights Affairs, B.T. Express...that was music..listen to the sharp rhythm...peace

  • If you pay attention well, and know Brass Construction well enough, you notice redundant elements in the construction of their songs : the regular drum rhythm always tends to go repetitive or syncopated at some point in their songs, like here : "PAK - PAK - PAK- ...PAK,PAK,PAK" , and also Joe Wong's guitar, always in the background, but nonetheless distinctively present, playing non-stop ...In spite of that -while keeping a constant style- they always hapenned to do new things ...Brilliant !

  • The thin synth melody line that sounds a bit "chinese-like" -at 3:42 and later at 6:11,repeated till the end of the song- makes like some kind of parallel or response to the melody line in "Can You See The Light",coming from the same album; like a trademark ...it's almost the same melody, except the notes are a bit modified... an other trademark from Brass, Skyy and other New-York groups is that macho/virile "HUH !"...

    3:42

  • back in the days the women were so fine with attitudes funky fresh attitudes with

style and finess but know there just fat ass women with attitudes because they eat

to damn much to to damn much!!!!!!!!!!!!fat asses!!!oldschool101able

  • They moved electro-funk by that time... but they had to ! Got to like the Vocoder and synthesizers in that one ! Brass Construction kept on being a great group till 1985 (when they issued their last album...)
