lol, that high-pitched squawking noise is their gripe-y sound. My Quaker would always make that sound when she got mad at me about something.

lol cute video. Did you consider they were being so protective because they were trying to nest? Birds like to nest in dark places with things they can rip up to build the nest. Other than that very cute birds, love their colors. I can tell you love them alot ^^
