Completely browser based? I don't like that aspect of it. I would rather integrate Cloud into an OS.

Google is taking from Jolicloud, Moblin (now Meego), and Ubuntu Netbook remix. It's not based on one soley.

I am so stoked Dell is supporting Chrome OS like this - and espeically the dell mini 9: didnt expect that, but its awesome.

It's based on Linux (possibly Debian), but not Ubuntu.
