An avatar dropped in a strange world... Who is he ? Does he really live what he is living ?
Filmed in Second Life® at Scottius Polke's installation "The Docks" and at Eliza Wierwight's installation "Aria".

Music: Cometa (www.jamendo.com) and Mozart (The Enchanted Flute)

Many thanks to Eliza Wierwight, Scottius Polke and Amase Levasseur (host of these 2 installations in Originalia sim).

Quotes from Chris Marker's "La jetée".

  • Welcome back Iono, I regret I have missed these installations. You have made a beautiful machinima. ty Rose♥

  • @ZebraZoe Thank You Rose ! I do appreciate :)

  • Great job, love it :D

  • @CelestialElf Thanks Celestial !

  • Congratulations Iono it gives me the exact purpose of the current "machinima " than to discover the poetry of the imperfect world of 3D real-time, through a story which questions about virtuality.

You are beyond the aesthetic intentions of machinima, which is for people outside our small circle of "machinimatographes", a giant leap backward in front of the precomputed 3D.

  • @TutsyNavarathna Thanks Tutsy, it's always interesting to dig what or who are avatars... You know that of course :)

  • Beautiful work. Pia

  • Absolutely brilliant Iono. You are taking machinima onto an entirely different plane.

The juxtaposition of visual, aural and emotional is breathtaking. Bravo indeed.

  • Iono I apologise for taking so long to getting around for thanking you for creating this remarkable piece ( also for your patience with my costume changes lol ). How fitting on the day I took Aria down that you had released this. Though I have saved some components of my work it will never genuinely live again as it does through your work. Beautifully articulated and again my genuine thanks.

I'm slowly rehoming pieces on my Patron SIM but it will never breath like this again.

  • NIce capture of an overall feel within the pieces and thoughtful.

  • @ArbitDelacroix Thank you Arbit, I do appreciate :)
