This and every show Stephen does is the reason why when Obama was asked after he did the Daily Show, if he was going to do the Colbert Report, He responded no he wasn't. He was asked why not, Obama replied with a smile and chuckle, "because nobody beats Stephen".

King Colbert. This guy never has a bad set, and finishes every single joke off to reach its fullest laugh potential. Comics strive to be him, women dive to sleep with him, and Chevy Chase will now jump up to veto his presence at any more roasts he is attending.

Greg Giraldo may have been the all around most consistently "best" at Roasts (and he was, truly, the best), but Stephen Colbert's bit here was probably the cleverest. kudos.

@DentistD1G Because they were more personal attacks because Chevy Chase is a talentless dick who thinks he is better than his comedy peers because made made a few films. I do enjoy some of his films, but to say he is talented is an outright lie.
