  • Yeah. Wow. All happening in this great insigt to the false starts of the session. A great find John. The Treasures didn't get anywhere with Phil but it shows how much is put into a session like this. Makes you wonder how the wall of sound is all done as its mainly live and the tempos change with the takes.

  • id say they were done with a lot of patients and frustration lol hence all the takes but phil knew what he wanted or what was in his head, i like this version of the beatles number, same song but totaly different style

  • Wow! You can keep the vocals----give me the instrumentals! Awesome!

  • I can listen to this for days.

When you pull the curtain back - and hear all the hard work - from the Wrecking Crew, and Phil looking for slight imperfections, and then: ANOTHER take, and another - and, yes, the little comments Phil makes over the mic.

It is fascinating to hear the dedication.

For those who grew up in multi-tracked, auto-tuned world, THIS is HARD work, right here, and these musicians are creme de la creme.

My thanks to all of them - the soundtrack of my life!
