Traxxas easy start system licks donkey nuts. For me the brushes keep falling out of the starter motor, went through 4 this season alone on 1 truck. The last motor lasted 20 min before a brush fell out..
Hpi's spin starter will also work on a revo. I have 1 spin start, 1 electric start, 1 pull start & the only one to give problems is the electric start ALMOST every time.The spin start is the best so far.

Sweet sounding revo! I've been runnin my revo for a couple years now and have gone from the 3.3TRX engine to the OS .21TM motor...I got a .28 sittin on the shelf because I dont have the funds to complete the drivetrain mods that I'd do before...Hows your stock drivetrain holding up to your .26? Lovin that Picco motor!

after you break in the engine, when it loses some of its compression, the ez start should work. ez start was never ment to turn over big blocks.

yeah its a good engine. but ill tell you a tip to save you time. well with my picco engine the ezstart couldnt turn it!. the piston always gets stuck at TDC. so i put a pullstart on it. also ill get a video of it running soon :)

@imy2k07 but if the ez starter couldnt turn it over wouldnt the pull start cord break?
