  • This looks like a well put together method, except how are rhythms introduced? I have a 5 year old student and it is difficult to keep her interest in a half an hour. Are rhythms introduced with stories or color or just as rhythms?

  • @fluterific00 I first start with pieces that contain only quarter notes. In the Rainbow Piano Technique most songs are familiar to kids; thus, they have already an idea about the rhythm. If not, the teacher should play an example.

  • @colorpiano ok, thank you. You do seem to have a good method here. :)

  • Very clever. I'm a flautist but for some reason I just struggle with the piano. Maybe I should try this method =p

  • 4-year-old Richard learns the piano from Annie. Have a look at his videos (in most of them, he was only three) .
