Lizard smarts take a leap as planet warms

    .

When the heat is on, some species of lizards get smarter, new research shows. These lizards are better at learning where to find the best hiding spots, a trait that could help them survive when hunted by predators. This ability could also be helpful as the Earth warms.

  • Doug Inkley's PhD must stand for Piled-high & Deeper...he completely fabricates some pseudo-science regarding polar bears, and ties it to global warming hysteria. Since global warming isn't happening (2011 annual GMTA was only +0.25C -- the same as 1990, 22 yrs earlier), one cannot attribute changes in polar bear populations to global warming. Any questions?

  • Climate change happening right now is not natural, that is a well-funded oil industry LIE. If you want to a credit to the world and truly care about the animals and people you say you do, then stop repeating that disgusting lie.

  • Cruelty to animals? Of course, I work every day to take care of abandoned animals that show up on my door, and I look out for them, and the rest of my life helping them

  • No one should starve obviously, that's another issue. But people have defenses by education and voting, and protest. We choose in many ways the world we get.

Animals on the other hand are wholly dependent upon what we do or what we don't do.

Taking care of people and animals are not mutually exclusive, in fact, we are all interrelated, big and small and need each other to survive

  • And why does no1 care about that? Y dnt u stop the direct cruelty to animals...? If it would b up 2 me i would b prepared 2 kill those monsters that do that 2 animals myself!!! Pick ur battles!!!!!!
