At first I thought this was time-lapsed.....that was a pretty awesome show. It must've been pretty severe. I've never seen one that fast-moving, and I'm in NW MN. Thank you so much for sharing! It's so hard to describe to people who haven't seen it.

I remember when this happened. It was my birthday and I was driving home at some ridiculously late hour in the early morning. I actually pulled over to the side of the road and got out of my car in the freezing cold with just a sweater and just stared at it. It was by far the most amazing thing I've ever seen. Best birthday present ever. :)

I was in Polson, MT for this show. My mom woke me and I went outside with her. Amazing! A 360 degree light show, that formed bird shapes above our heads occasionally. Like Disney's "Brother Bear". I had to wake my 14 yr old daughter. It WAS massive. I'm glad I got to share it with my daughter. I was going to plan a trip No. to let her experience it, but we didn't need to. It came to Montana. Lucky us. After about 10 minutes though, it was getting kind of eerie, so we went inside. Haha.

I remember seeing this!! it was my sister's birthday and my mom yelled to every that to come outside and omg it was so so cool!!! i will never forget that day when i first saw the northern lights!!!!
