Yeah, I noticed that too when I went back and watched these, I've gotten better with it. Thanks though, I appreciate that sort of stuff.

no problem x)I 'm still learning to.. everyone does, but ur one of the better players on youtube i think. ( can you say what pedals / gear u use, like that fuzz and still clean bass sound tru it)

Thank you very much. I'm using a Fender Geddy Lee Jazz bass (they cost more than the American made Fenders now, so if you're considering it, take a look at all kinds of jazzes), although the QOTSA sound can really be nailed with a P-bass (which can be approximated by only using the front pickup of a J). The amp I'm using is a Gallien-Krueger Backline 1x10 Combo. The distortion is built into the amp. GK also makes a pedal version of this distortion called the Diesel Dawg. Hope this helps.
