NUMBERS vs. EQUALITY
Prop 8 supporters say numbers matter. Meaning the majority is always right. REALLY? In April 2003, Pew Research asked Americans if invading Iraq was the right decision. 75% said YES. In September 2008, Pew Research asked Americans again if invading Iraq was the right decision. 55% said NO. Who is right? The 75% of Americans in 2003 or the 55% of Americans in 2008. The reality is majorities change. Our understanding changes. Will Californians look back on their vote on Prop 8 with regret or with PRIDE? VOTE NO on PROP 8

  • kids learning that guys kissing is normal in school. I explained to both that the CA Ed code 51933, section 7 reads as follows: Instruction and materials shall teach respect for marriage and committed relationships.

Prop 8 does nothing to change this, and this has been in place for years.

The sad thing is, these are the types of guys that love watching girl on girl videos, but when they consider two guys holding hands walking down the street, they want to kick their asses....weird.

  • Another great video!

    No on Prop. 8!

  • That's funny, because numbers have also twice shown that the people of California don't want gay marriage to be recognized by the state. Oh and P.S., gay's can still get married, retards! Have the ceremony, shove the cake and all that, just not recognized by the state.

  • "Terrorist strikes on four American cities. Russia rolling into Eastern Europe. Israel hit by a nuclear bomb. Gay marriage in every state. The end of the Boy Scouts.

All are plausible scenarios if Democrat Barack Obama is elected president, according to a new addition to the campaign conversation called "Letter from 2012 in Obama's America," produced by the conservative Christian group Focus on the Family Action."

From: Christian right intensifies attacks on Obama

    Insanity runs amuck!

  • That is fine, as I stated, you can simply not watch if it makes you that unconfortable.

I just don't care for signs of public affection. I'm not trying to pass a law against it. It's just something I will look away from.

  • They have no problem with homosexuality, same with differing ethnicities, the handicapped, etc. If people would bother to educate their children rather than keep them in the dark concerning social topics the children would adjust. That is not saying that the parents are telling their children to become gay etc.

I told mine that I did not care either way.

I make only one promise to my kids...that I will always love them no matter what.

It seems other do not feel the same about their kids.

  • In high school it happens, and is acceptable, if not "normal".

If seeing two guys kissing in public makes you unconfortable, now you understand how gays feel seeing you kiss a girl in public...possibly, I am not gay. It seems that you have not considered their rights to do as you are allowed to do.

If I see something that is not against the law, but makes me unconfortable in public, I simply stop watching.

My kids are teens now, but I explained homosexuality to them when they were 4 and 5.

  • messiahjonz Guys kissing in school or girls is not normal. No kissing in school!

I don't watch lesbian videos but I would watch that before I would watch gay videos. That's because I'm a heterosexual guy who doesn't find a guy's body attractive.

I enjoy seeing guys showing emotion, hugging and jumping on one another when they win the Supper Bowl or the World Series. If that makes me gay, I guess I am.

Seeing to guys kissing each other on the mouth in public bothers me.

  • This has nothing to do with a cost to voters.

I just had a coversation with two people at an online poker table. Both claim they are voting yes on prop 8 citing "fags digust them" and "homos are child molesters." I told them I respect their right to be hate filled bigots, but this is concerning equal rights. Both were males, one black and the other mideastern. I asked them if they were against equal rights. Both claimed that this is not about equal rights and they do not want their (cont)
