Wheelock College: Sobhan Namvar's Commencement Speech

http://bit.ly/wheelockcollege Wheelock College's graduate student speaker, Sobhan Namvar, encouraged the students at Wheelock College's Commencement Ceremony on May 13, 2011 to continue on the their path to becoming "professional change agents."

Sobhan says he feels thankful for being able to go to grad school with passionate students who are connected to different backgrounds, cultures, religions, and ethnicities. He is happy to say that he had a curriculum that emphasizes human rights, a generalist view, and a strength-based focus in order to improve his community and beyond.

Sobhan notes that we are all one collective that sees change as a hand up, not a hand out, and who have learned to evaluate the world through a unique yet global perspective.
