@UnionoftheBrits I am fairly certain that you can blame the Britains for "slaughtering" Americans, in the same way as blame can be placed on the Americans responding in kind. The fact that it took place during a war does explains, but does not excuse, these actions.

@Funbone2 I've read McCullough and I think that it is safe to assume that virtually every person who watches this video has done the same. Likewise, the John Adams miniseries is hardly a source that a majority of people are not familiar with. That being said, this video was made for the assignment "Make an attack ad against Adams" in a faux-election exercise during a high school history class. I think that the slight blurring of truth is done, par for the course, to discredit the opponent.
