Re insulted fathers: aside from the obvious points that mothers carry the baby for 9 months, deliver the baby with great pain and health risk, breastfeed, develop a unique bond with the child... the burden of primary parenting responsibility usually falls more on the mom. It's a scary endeavor, esp for first time moms and that's what this video is about. There is no comparable statement for men. We go off to work and wish the moms well. A Dad

My first child, a 4 month old baby girl, has a cold. At 4 a.m. last night, she woke up crying and could barely feed from the congestion in her nose. I did everything in my power to do...and then "sat up all night, just watching her breathe." I came across this video just this morning after feeling tired and not understood by my husband, and just BAWLED. Thank you so, so much for making this video, because "Google doesn't have children."

There is actually still huge health risks associated with giving birth. Yes, the overall death rate in the developed world has dropped but there are still hundreds of health complications that will last a lifetime. When you say people chose this pain, its not exactly an easy choice- its huge pain and health deficits orrr... have no kids.

Just wanted to say I have friends that don't have children and they are lovely, kind people. This comment was aimed more for me really, I feel motherhood has changed me into a better person because I put my daughter before myself now!
