We asked moms if they could go back to before their first baby, what would they tell themselves. These are their answers. Everyone in the video is a mom :)

My first child, a 4 month old baby girl, has a cold. At 4 a.m. last night, she woke up crying and could barely feed from the congestion in her nose. I did everything in my power to do...and then "sat up all night, just watching her breathe." I came across this video just this morning after feeling tired and not understood by my husband, and just BAWLED. Thank you so, so much for making this video, because "Google doesn't have children."

Lovely video. My husband and I recently adopted an amazing baby girl, and I find myself wondering how the video from the adoptive parent perspective would be similar and different. It's a totally different kind of "labor," but equally frightening and awesome. What would I have told myself? "You thought adoption was Plan B, but when you meet her, you'll know how incredibly wrong you were."

Motherhood is the most 'satisfying' phenomenon for humans in the Universe. Yes, real TRUE LOVE. Better than a million bucks, better than climb'n Mt Everest or sailin round the world solo--which is what 'lost' males do fruitlessly searching for the BIG 'satisfyer..so the Mothers should be thankful to God for the experience--and ease up a little on all the other males, the "non-sons"...try Googling..Hetero Manifesto...(Utility of Motherhood)..

(my background: I'm a female in my mid 20s, going to stay childfree, but I still love kids, and I don't hate parents either) In the last point you said being a mother is nothing special: That would only be true if you just counted the 'having sex and making a baby' part in. However, being a good mother (or father) is a highly important job. And if you do it correctly, then you've done something truly special. And also, just because many people have done something, it's still a huge thing.

Apparently I've been blocked for having a different opinion. Yay censorship!
Oh, and while we're at it, yay sexism! Thankfully my dad was not as lazy/distant as some others', because I was raised by both parents. Pity.
Oh, and if literally half the population plus animals is capable of being a mother, it's not really that special. Just saying.

Your really got no idea do u ? Pick at me then , i have a stay at home Dad with my kids and I am a stay at home Mum and let me tell you, you ask my partner who raises the kids the most and he will still say women. The video was about new Mums , perhaps if u are so worried about the representation of others you should put your words into action and make it yourself. Hang on that would require effort wouldn't it and its just so much easier to shoot down others efforts at trying to help new Mums.

"~i can post my opinions on the internet but no one is allowed to judge me~"
You're confused. Your opinion of me really doesn't matter. I just expected more of an argument from someone who acts so superior. I'm disappointed tbh.
Oh, and you just keep using those ad hominem arguments. It's making you look really intelligent. Sincerely. It's not like you look equally stupid for carrying on a 4 month old argument that didn't even involve you. Haha

your comment really writes its own rebuttal. you did the work for me.
did you cover ad hominem in yesterday's introduction to sociology lesson?

So much ad hominem. You're not even making an argument. You're supposed to attack my arguments, not me. Oh, and I'm a feminist. Not sure where you got antifeminist from. Real feminism is about equality. Why are you looking at 4 month old arguments in depth anyway?

that's exactly what you are, a girl; not a woman. interesting word choice.
you're trying so hard to be progressively antifeminist that you look like an idiot. i see you pulled out the maturity card in a later argument - that's rich, coming from a loser trolling several people in a video about new motherhood.
why don't you take your community college degree (if you even have one) & go try to look impressive elsewhere? i love internet little guy syndrome. grow up.
- a real antifeminist w/o kids
