  • IMO I'd love to see a race in these conditions again, it's a strange beauty

  • Obviously the TV images don't do it justice, let alone the highly compromised images we see here, but does it really look that dark? At times it does, but at times it looks bright at day, especially near apecies and braking points. Boy oh boy. These cars made for fabulous sights, sounds, and racing.

  • I would say the track-side footage is a bit deceptive in terms of darkness, the on-board stuff is a bit more like it.

The drivers know the way around the track, but they might have trouble seeing yellow flags for example, and if you have a crash or a spin round the next corner you really want to have that warning, especially on a walled street circuit like this.

    Sure looks good though.

  • beautifull, specially for me, i am the current owner of Reynard Indy Car / Champ Car property rights designs and drawings, now , maybe that means nothing but in racing sports , i onw a great car designs

  • He quickly forgot about the danger I guess.

  • Ah yes, practically dark and we're finishing this one up... I remember Ganassi was throwing a fit over how dark it was.
