@monkeygod69 All joking aside, I said it in a comical manner but I the gist of it is accurate. Lack of high speed internet in areas where country music overlaps in popularity means country music sells more CDs than downloads.

I'm from out in the sticks and we got decent internet. but there are a lot of people in this area that have no idea how to use the internet and they're all hillbilly so you might be right. lol

@monkeygod69 I am not a country music fan but it is one of the few genres where the fans buy CDs enough to matter. It could be because in the sticks they have limited high speed internet? Lack of internet skills? I don't know, but they don't get their music for free like most everyone else so that's where artists can go no and sell CDs for now.

i don't care much for country music. like the original version of this song much better. not saying anything bad about kid rock. he's mega talented to be able to do just about any kind of music. i just like the rap rock stuff better than the country

that's cool. i'm actually working via internet on music with several people from germany and austria. i'm taking a german class next semester in school too.
