  • We work with several experts in dog behavior to create policies designed to evaluate each dog on an individual basis. Camps look at the whole dog during this process. Breed type is only one of many considerations when qualifying a dog for camp. Dogs are bred for many different types of work; some are bred to be physically strong while others are bred for jobs requiring them to have dominant behavioral characteristics and/or tendencies.

  • Our Camps have an incredible safety record and we hold our franchises to the highest standards in caring for our Campers (including recording all play yard activity on our live web cams for review at a later time). Our strict policies are a key reason customers are so loyal to our brand.

  • We built our business and our foundation on improving the lives of our furry friends worldwide. When creating policies for our Camps, we first and foremost consider the safety, health and happiness of our Campers, second the wishes of our human clients, and third the welfare of our well respected and highly regarded brand.

  • Check our our new policy on our camper evaluation process and what is required of any dog who wants to be a camper at any Camp Bow Wow location:

Camp Bow Wow® welcomes all dogs based on their behavior and ability to handle the rigors of camp. It is not corporate policy to turn away a dog based on breed. Depending upon location there may be outside factors dictating who may be allowed in Camp, these may include:

    City Ordinances

    Insurance Policies

  • Ignorant PPL vote for BSL. And when I say ignorant i don't necessarily mean stupid...however if the boot fits. Lplaypsp, you are so worried about how epensive it would be to seperate dogs but do you knwo how expensive it is to implement BSL in a community?

  • I can't wait until you get banned. Any dog can bite. Any!!! My daughter was bit in the face by an Akita. My nephew had to get 54 stitches around his mouth. He was bit by a Lab. You're stupid.

  • Tenactians-Pit bulls DON'T have a locking jaw, in fact no dog does.

  • @ferretnation88 Pitbulls have something called "lock jaw" its where they get into a fight with another dog and there jaws become "locked" you have to pry it open with your hands, very dangerous situation for the dogs and staff alike.

  • I need a place to leave my puppy (3 month old lab) at for 2 days out of the week. How do I know this place will treat her well and not just throw her in a cage and take her out for 10 minutes. If that's the case, I can just leave her in a kennel all day long. There are many Doggy day cares in San Antonio, what does Camp BowWow have that they do not, and why should I leave my dog with you? Thanks :D

  • I am getting a wheaten terrior like in the video.

  • i like 1:38 and 1:56
