2009 Skip Barber MX5 Summer Challenge Round 4 Watkins Glen Driver- Lee Carpentier

Round 4 of the Skippy Summer Series in the MX5 Challenge car. Started in second place, grabbed the lead on lap 1 and led the race until lap 9 when a full coarse caution bunched the field back up. On the last lap I lost the lead and fell back to 4th, but was then able to climb back up to 2nd before the checked.

Engineer- thanks. yeah they were on my tail, once i was able to pull a gap i was able to use all the track again. I just cut out the laps where i was leading due to a ten min video limit.

Hi Lee there is more speed at turn 1. And you can go flat in the S's . Impressive drive

Nice smooth driving. Were you protecting the inside line after your first pass in the first 2 min? Seems like you had more track to use.
