Jersey Diners: A Slice of Americana

I did this for my Television Production class at Seton Hall University. It's a documentary on Jersey Diners. Most of it was filmed at the Suburban Diner in Paramus, NJ. The requirement was to make the film under 10 minutes so I tried to cram as much history, interviews, and b-roll as I could into the alloted time. This was all filmed with an HD camera, but the quality here on YouTube is obviously not the same as if you watched it on DVD so bear with me on that. Hope you all enjoy it, and let me know what you think. Comments are encouraged.

Wow, small world indeed. My father's worked there for 10 years and I don't remember a Lou Or Connie so that must have been before the current owners Mike and George.

i used to work at the circle diner in flemington,n.j. back in '77. it was a huge diner with an extra dineing area added on. they were famous for their cheesecake. the owner also owned a rooming house for the dishwashers to stay. the rent was deducted from their paychecks.
