  • @clagstoppa TICA recognizes Munchkins as an official breed and Bambinos are registered as an experimental breed. There are no known breed related issues due to their short stature. You're a cat lover, not former Bambino owner and hardly anything you showed as 'fact' proved your point of them having health problems due to short limbs.

  • Adorable!

  • @InStoneSet & @darkkit1994. FACT: cats are natures perfect hunter, designed for agility, speed and stealth. FACT: munchkins are the result of a genetic mutation. FACT: breeders don't breed two muchkins together because there is the risk that homozygous embryos are non-viable. FACT: the Cat Fanciers Assoc, GCCF and other cat registries around the world do not recognise the breed because it is based on a genetic abnormality. That enough research for you?

  • @clagstoppa The FACTS say that short-legged cat breeds, Munchkin and Bambino, are generally very healthy breeds due to the lack of in-breeding at this point and time, since responsible breeders do not breed two Munchkins together. They're even healthier than the short-legged dog breeds, due to cat's naturally flexible spine.

  • @clagstoppa do some research on bambinos, they don't suffer health problems dues to their short limbs.

  • WRONG, WRONG, WRONG!!!! These poor little cats looked deformed. They walk awkwardly and may suffer from health problems in the future because of their short limbs. I'm sure many of you will disagree, but as a life-long cat lover, this is my opinion.

  • why do some of them have very weak arms? That must not be comfertable at all.

  • That's so sad, those poor little things.

  • aaaaaaaaaw bambinos are soo adorable! if i didnt live up north in quebec, i would totally get one. i dont want to be selfish and put them through the harsh cold winters we get over here :) they deserve to be in warm climates
