  • So that is how the 1st and 2nd curtains work! Thank you for the education lesson and taking the time to post. Very informative.

    I wonder if they ever thought of moving the curtains side to side vice up and down and if that would allow a different take on photos like that of a cars lights streaming behind it. I know it has to due with curtain synch but I was wondering if the direction mattered and why then not go from side to side. Just curious.
