Man, sucks the studio version of this was removed off youtube
Though I was curious exactly how he plays that bass part, it's just it seems like he may be intentionally it a bit more difficultly (with all those jumps and slides) to make it a little more interesting to watch, I'm pretty sure it can be played with just open strings and the second and third fret on a 6 string.

Hell yeah, I got the privilege of standing front and center when Karnivool came to Seattle. Ian put his hand on my head when he was singing All I Know. It was awesome :)

@coldproject I think the music is very similar to Tool, but I don't agree about that this drummer, or even Danny is god lol. Seriously Danny is NOT god he's just outstanding in the rock genre, if you look in to metal, especially math, he won't be any better than these drummers.
Is there a connection between Tool and Karnivool by the way?

@coldproject Your right, he's not Danny BUT, Like danny, He's all over odd time signatures and Compound timing. An extremely good drummer in his own right.

When listening to this CD from start to finish, one feels like they are being sucked into a rabbit hole, getting bashed about and spun out into the ether never to be the same again!
