This VW camper uses a fuel cell type engine. The motors would be in the wheel hubs and the power generating fuel cell would be stored in chassis and could be removed very easily and it also has solar panels on the roof. So space for a conventional engine is not needed. No more petrol engine! As for space for every thing else. The roof could be made that small. We keep thinking about materials we use today not of materials that will be develop in the future. and will take up far less room.

This design is dumb. There is'nt a space for the engine, and more stuff pops out than could even fit in it. I mean, shit, is that pop top stored in hammer space? it doesn't even fold when it goes down!

So um... did nobody notice how the top box practically just appears out of thin air? As it goes up and goes down, where do they store all the extra space without crushing the drivers head?

this is a concept based on the westfalia vw camper vans. Those also have pop-tops, and earlier ones have one that resembles this one. its a sort of tent or a tarp.

I want THAT pop top and side tent on MY bus. I don't give a damn about the rest. I'm fine with a normal westy interior. the pop top is just awesome.
