this doesnt sound anything like Scott, must b the redording, and it was the evening Phil died so he must have been really upset, thanks for this, still cant believe that this guy asked Scott and Brian to go on the radio on the evening that his best friend died, so disrespectful in my opinion

Lynott and Downey had been friends since they were kids. It must of been so hard for him. Lynott did herion, he injected in between his toes to hide it. I can't imagine how hard it would of been for Phil, he lost his wife, then his band.

The Greatest! Lest we forget, on Black Rose phill sang ive got to give it up. I was lucky i saw Lizzy live many times in the 70s and early 80s.....Splitting up was daft should never have happened As Brian Downey says we were going to record, that wont happ[en now. Grand slam were a good band, i saw them too (i have a set list, one of my most treasured possetions from Huddersfield poly, they didnt do much lizzy stuff. ) Sara is a tribute to Phill's grandma, thats the measure of the man!

There are 2 days I will never forget, the day we lost Phil and the day we lost Randy Rhodes, they were both amazing to watch and very talented. thanks for posting this, and Scott was right, Phil was a visionary.
Love all your work BSF but can you adjust the date ,You have the date 1/4/86,,We here in Ireland and all of Europe take that as the 1st of April ,which is not the date Phil passed away ,,,,it would be greta if you could adjust it to read 4/1/86,,
thx

@amadan9999
But 4/1/86, where I'm from, is April 1.
Anyone watching this video most likely knows when Lynott died. The date format is pretty insignificant. Besides, I can't change it on the actual video anyway, as I'd have to post a completely new video.

The sound of the recording i have is much clearer and sounds right.This version is bad which doesnt give out the correct sounding of scott or dave.A bad cassette tape copied.

Well then feel free to post yours. If it's better I'll be happy to take this one down.
This is a recording from a cassette tape 22 years ago of a guy talking on a telephone. Sorry it's not Dolby 5.1 surround sound. Let's keep that in mind.
