Well I'm getting to meet my fiancés grandparents for the first time on thanksgiving... I'm kinda scared! They know all about me but it's just weird! Lol any advice besides being myself since they're a bit oldish :)

I liked your story on your website about your ex bf and your mom. My situation is similar, but reversed because my new girlfriend is Chinese and she speaks limited English. Anyways, my family really wants to meet her for Christmas, but my family is Italian, and they are all very loud, animated, and talkative. I sure hope it doesn't overwhelm her! lol

vanae, awesome topic/video! my stepmother gave a not-so-nice lecture to my niece about not bringing her latest fling over for the holidays last year. i forwarded this vid to my niece now as a more thorough explanation of the awkwardness. i explained it to her last year, but its nice to hear it from a wise 3rd party too :)
