I'm no defender when it comes to the Chinese and their human rights violations - but you've got to know better than go to a foreign country and protest without a permit and asking for independent - don't these people have better things to do - this isn't even the Human Right issue - it's a separation of a country - these people are idiots - besides, Americans have no right to preach at other countries, considering what's happening on their own turf, in regards to human rights violations, etc.

Why Chinese are called to discuss their recent history and their Government's so called crimes when the Western countries can't even face Georgia's,Iraq's,or Rwanda's criminal involvement?What's the result if u protest against your Government during the Olympics that you host-let's get it straight! If people protest against cruel treatment of prisoners of Guantanamo during the future Olympics in NY-would that matter?Is it better to challenge openly or to go a harder path of pushing for a change?

Tibet was an independent country before the Communist china invaded tibet..... Dalai lama is a bodhisattva and he is even being kind to china and willing to stay within china...and he only demands basic human rights just to preserve their own country... the southern part of mongolia is also occupied by the communist and west north of shingjang as well. If the Communist china remain in their own land, no one will ever say a word......

we are definitely concern about Human Rights. We don't care which country.... and all those protesters are not politicians. they are just ordinary people with conscience, who understand human value and speaking for those who don't have voice..... the world has become very small and no one can be isolated with each other. everyone has to live with each other. every one is dependent with each other.

if the chinese people will say us to go out from china, than its the same case in Tibet, the Han chinese should get out of Tibet. Tibet belongs to Tibetan as China belongs to Chinese ...Tibet was an independent country before 59. they have their own currency not written in Chinese but in tibetan. they have their own language and culture unique to china..their own clothes..ect..
