  • lol, too cute! one of our schnauzers is too scared to walk on the linoleum in the kitchen... we had to put carpets down because he is so scared of it.. he just flails and slips and slides... but i've caught him walking on it just fine and not paying attention... then he realizes he's out in the middle of the floor and scampers back to the carpet... so silly!

  • Haha Bambi is like that too, only on polished wood. She scampers a lot sometimes, but other times she'll be fine. She also thinks there are "invisible barriers" or something like that at the entrance to some rooms, and sometimes can't get in and makes a big fuss. I wonder if it's a schnauzer thing? Hallucinations? lol

  • Excuse me but is your mini schnauser loyal only to one person? My dog is only nice to my mom and hates me and my sister... we had him since he was a puppy and treated him so well... We don't understand.. he shows his teeth to us and only follows my mom around...

  • Hi!

    Thanks for your comment

Bambi is a bit selective, she likes my mum and grandma the best, but that's only because they give her treats all the time. She likes everyone to an extent though. I'm sorry, but I have no idea why your schnauzer acts like that... does he growl/bite/snap?

  • just seen your vid! should you really let a 9 week old puppy climb steps?

  • xD hmmm... well I'm not sure if I SHOULD have... hehehe... but it was all part of the learning process I suppose. Bambi can climb up stairs perfectly now! :.)

  • @morningtruth over her, will allow respect and love to be shown to you and your sister....that's what happened with Sadie. She still feels she has some authority over my younger sister xD but she really loves me and respects me because she can't get away with everything with me xD

  • @morningtruth My parents have a mini schnauser (Sadie), what happened to ours was she loved the family but eventually (as she was growing up) started to find a level/position/hierarchy in the family. So there were my parents, then me and then my younger sister. Sadie understood authority with my parents but thought she was above both us girls. She showed us her teeth once, and after that they need to be put in their place. And I don't mean hit or beat them lol...but having a level of authority

  • i also taught my schnauzer to go up and down down the stair, year ago... he was so small, he couldn't reach the next stair!

  • ahhh thats adorable.. im in love!!

  • aaaaaaa hes cute i like the really tiny ones
