A picture of the seder plate, describing and explaining all the elements on it with names shown in Hebrew and transliteration. I hope to have more of the seder soon!
Thanks! I love it! I am a born-again believer who is new at all this, trying to learn and observe as the Bible commands! And I Really love your website! I've been referencing it for years, I especially appreciate how you've layed out the Shema in the 2 languages! Thanks for all your hard work! Bless u! Shalom! sis Smooth
Reform Judaism is a 20th century modification of Jewish law intended to both modernize and create more leniency. Orthodox Jews are traditionalists and do not believe that it is legal to change or rescind laws and therefore do not accept Reform. There's a big rift there... Think of it like Catholics vs. Baptists or something like that.
I'm perplexed by the comment "I converted to Reform Judaism." Does that mean you don't consider you converted to Judaism, but merely a subsect of the religion? How does that fit with the Jewish understanding of a unified nation of Israel? If you don't buy into the nation of Israel concept, why bother converting in the first place? (So confused.)
First off, Thank you for posting this. This is cool. However, I must say this, forgive me if i'm wrong. The Z'roa is suppose to be the shankbone of a LAMB. I have not heard of anyone using anything else. Am I right?

This comment has received too many negative votes show
Not exactly the rushed meal as outlined in the Exodus - perhaps this is because the Jews, having rejected their saviour have nowhere to go

I converted to Reform Judaism about 6 months ago and will be holding my first Passover Seder in a few weeks. This is very helpful. Thanks!
